As the founder of Siegfried & Luke, Ellen believes that long-term relationships with her clients lead to greater understanding and a better partnership benefitting both parties. She strives to ensure each of her clients receives personal, thorough attention in order to assist them in meeting their personal finance and tax goals.
Over her 24-year career, Ellen has focused on providing strategic taxation and accounting advice for high net worth clients. Immediately prior to founding Siegfried & Luke, she served as partner and leader of the tax team for Marshall Jones, where she managed all aspects of compliance, planning and advisement. She has experience in real estate, including accounting for condemnation transactions and like-kind exchanges, and has also worked with many clients who have received stock options, assisting with the reporting and planned disposition for diversification and minimization of the Alternative Minimum Tax. Ellen has additional experience working with clients in professional service industries, including architecture, law, medicine and consulting.
A Certified Public Accountant, Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science with a specialization in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with additional coursework at Mercer University.
Ellen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accounts. In addition, she is a member and past president of the North Atlanta Tax Council.
Ellen is a native of Chickamauga, Georgia and is married to Brad, a high school administrator. She has two daughters, Emma and Anna. Ellen enjoys being an active member of the community as a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, where she currently serves on the Vestry and is a member of the Altar Guild.
